AVI now even more sustainable through investment in solar panels
At AVI, we never stand still in our mission towards more sustainable production. We not only reuse materials and reduce our raw material needs, but from now on, we also generate our own green energy with solar panels.
200,000 kilowatt-hours of sustainable energy
“Solar panels enable us to produce our products in an even more environmentally friendly way,” says Patrick Roskam, director of AVI Volendam, proudly. “With the installation of 462 solar panels, we can generate approximately 200,000 kilowatt-hours of sustainable energy annually, which will make a significant difference in reducing our carbon footprint.”
