Webshop Bags

Webshop bags are strong bags that protect the product against shocks, tears, and moisture during shipping. The bags are relatively lightweight, resulting in lower shipping costs and a smaller ecological footprint. Webshop bags almost always have a single or double permanent adhesive strip, so the bag cannot be opened during the shipping process.

We can supply webshop bags in various colors and materials. Most of the bags we sell are black on the inside and white on the outside, so the contents of the bag are not visible. Webshop bags are usually made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), sometimes from medium-density polyethylene (MDPE). Polypropylene such as cast polypropylene (CPP) and biaxially oriented polypropylene (OPP) are often not suitable, as this material tears too easily.

Good to note: the minimum order for small webshop bags is 10,000 pieces and for large webshop bags 5,000 pieces. We deliver smaller quantities from stock.

Shipping Envelopes

With shipping envelopes – also known as mailing envelopes – companies predominantly send paperwork. Think of documents, magazines, and manuals, but also marketing materials such as catalogs, brochures, and flyers. Shipping envelopes are also sometimes used for sending smaller products such as jewelry, (electronic) parts, and samples. Shipping envelopes have a flap with a resealable or permanent adhesive strip. Permanent adhesive strips are not necessarily needed for brochures and mailings, but are for sensitive documents such as contracts and other sensitive documents or products.

The most commonly used sizes of shipping envelopes are A4, A3, and A5. These are the most popular sizes in our range:

Adhesive Strips on Webshop Bags and Shipping Envelopes

Both webshop bags and shipping envelopes are equipped with adhesive strips. These can be:

Permanent adhesive strip: ensures that the envelopes remain well sealed, they can only be opened by tearing them apart.
Double permanent adhesive strips: are an ideal solution for returns, as the customer can reseal the envelope and return it if the product is not satisfactory.
Resealable adhesive strip: can be opened and closed multiple times, making it unsuitable for sending valuable products or sensitive information.

Both webshop bags and shipping envelopes can be printed by us. Think of logos, advertisements, or other forms of promotion that strengthen or differentiate your brand from the competition. Printing can range from one color to full color. Our bags and envelopes can also be delivered in all possible colors.

AVI Volendam delivers not only throughout the Netherlands but also regularly in other European countries such as Germany or Belgium. We usually deliver unprinted products within 4 to 5 weeks, and for printed products, we allow 5 to 6 weeks. Unprinted products that we have in stock are delivered within one week.

Shrink film is a special plastic film used to shrink-wrap products. When heated, the film shrinks tightly around products. This can be used for both individual products and to neatly package multiple products together.

The packaging of a pallet is crucial. After all, you want your goods to arrive intact at their destination. During transportation and both long- and short-term storage of your products, pallet sheets provide the right protection against weather conditions, moisture, dust, and dirt.

For the magazine and mailing industry, we produce special machine film. This film protects the mailing or magazine and allows multiple brochures to be bundled. Usually, the clear transparent LDPE film is chosen, but we also have various colored films in our range.
