A big plus on our BRC Report!
In 2020 and 2021, AVI-Volendam already achieved the highest BRC score (AA). In 2022, we received an unannounced BRC audit, and therefore AVI-Volendam was allowed to add an extra + and is certified in the AA+ class! We are committed every day to ensuring our service and product quality. We are proud of the dedication and flexibility of our team and the recognition we have received for it. What is a BRC audit?
BRC stands for The British Retail Consortium. The BRCGS Packaging Materials Global Standard specifically applies to our company. It is a globally recognized certification program that checks whether packaging producers operate according to the standards of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). These standards are found in categories such as HACCP food safety plan, food safety and quality policy, process control, management of raw materials, management involvement, and so on. The assessment to qualify for a BRC certification consists of 300 checkpoints within the 12 core requirements. AVI-Volendam is proud that we have received an additional '+' for this again this year. That was, of course, celebrated!
